🔥SUMEDRU'S FIRE🔥 is a more than 2,000-year-old custom, preserved with sanctity in the Argeș area, especially in the Muscel area, and it always takes place on the night of October 25 to 26, just before the feast of Saint Dumitru, the protector of shepherds. It is a symbol of the transition into the cold season, of purification and transformation. A tradition that unites the community, with music, dances, good cheer and the rich fruits of autumn, but also a reason to remember those who are no longer among us.

This year for the first time we will continue the celebration of #SUMEDRU and the next day on October 26 with the autumn fair, Sumedru's Fair!
Dealul Mățău is big and there is enough room for everyone. So we still have places available.

🎃Participate with your stand at the Sumedru Fair, where you can exhibit and sell handmade creations, decorative objects, local products, unique clothes and accessories, inspired by tradition and passion, for the chance to connect with an enthusiastic community from all over the corners of the country, to carry the tradition forward.
