The time is approaching again when the sausages will dance around the fire and the scents of tradition will rise to the sky.
The 19th edition of the Sausage Parade will take place on November 9, in Zăbala, on the Zabola Estate.
Come and be part of the magic of local taste and craftsmanship, on a day when tradition comes alive.
IT'S TIME TO MARK YOUR DATE IN YOUR CALENDAR!
We invite you to participate in an authentic culinary experience, where teams of amateur and professional chefs will demonstrate their mastery in preparing sausages according to traditional recipes. Whether you're into cooking or just enjoying, this event promises a real feast for the taste buds.
The best teams will be awarded to the jury!!!
Here is the program of the event:
09:00 – 10:00 Registration, receipt of basic materials and consumables
10:00 – 11:00 Table decoration
11:00 – 11:30 Official opening
11:30 – 14:00 Sausage preparation
14:00 – 14:30 Presentation of sausages to the jury
14:30 – 16:30 Judging
16:30 – 17:00 Premiere celebration
Participation fee: 600 RON / team.
The participation fee also includes 10 kg of meat and 15 m of pork fat.
The jury scores:
• the team (dress, organization of the space, good atmosphere
• the sausage preparation process, hygiene
• the taste and general appearance of the sausage
• table decoration (arrangement, decoration, traditional products, originality)
• presenting and serving the menu
