The History of Catholicism: Following in the Footsteps of Ladislaus, the Knight King.
Starting from Oradea Fortress, we now turn back a thousand years, to the times of King Ladislaus, a symbol of Christianity and chivalry. In the old churches, initially Catholic, now Unitarian or Reformed, the walls hide pieces of legend painted beneath the murals: battle frescoes or epiphanies of the canonized monarch, solemnly covered by reform.
In the footsteps of the knight king, we understand a legendary chapter of Hungarian history, from the chivalrous ideals of Catholic Europe at the beginning of the millennium to the transformation brought by Protestantism five hundred years ago.
