Transilvania Bike Trails Race 16 August 2025, one of the most spectacular MTB competitions in Romania, will take place on August 16, 2025, with the start and finish in Saschiz, just like before. This event is not just a competition, but an exploration of local traditions through cultural activities, concerts, and artisanal products prepared by the communities in the area.
Participants can taste traditional dishes and benefit from various accommodation options – from rustic guesthouses to campsites specially arranged for them.
During the competition, children can participate in mountain biking camps or other educational and recreational activities organized in the area. Familiarize yourself with the rugged trails and ride similar distances before the competition. Make sure your bike is in perfect condition and you are wearing a helmet on your bike. TBT Race is more than a race – it is an invitation to discover the Transylvanian Hills region. The routes of this competition pass through picturesque Saxon villages such as Viscri, Criț, Meșendorf and Cloașterf, all connected by paths specially arranged for you. The fairytale landscapes include dense forests, green fields and fortified churches protected by UNESCO, offering participants a unique experience.
Available races:
Long route: ~78 km, ideal for experienced cyclists. Medium route: ~42 km, suitable for cyclists with an intermediate level. Short route: ~24 km, accessible even to beginners and families. Children's race Fun Stage Race
