About

On October 19, the Community Holidays arrive in Cloașterf, a small, charming and quiet village, just 2 km away from the national road and 7 km from Saschiz. The legend says that, at the beginning of the century XX, a Viennese likened the main street of Cloașterf to the one he lived on, and since then the appellation "Cloașterf - Little Vienna" has remained in local folklore.

The program of events includes:
- Reception of the participants, in the courtyard of the Fortified Church of St. Nicholas in Cloașterf
- Wood painting workshop. Guest: Manuela Ivan Mobilier Pictat
- Exhibition of paintings on wood made by children and exhibition of old photographs from the village of Cloasterf
- Brass band music
- "A walk through the village" - guided visit, with stops at the cultural heritage site in the community
- Picnic on the hill, at Ghegher

Important: participation in the picnic can only be done with prior reservation through the contact form on the Neighborhood website: https://vecinatateafemeilor.ro/contact/ Please indicate in the "message" section the number of registered persons
- Projection of films:
The documentary "Fosnic la Cloasterf" (2004)
Film "Cabbage, potatoes and other demons"

..and some sweet surprises 🙂
We are waiting for you at Cloasterf!

Event organized within the project "Traditions from the Neighborhood" implemented by the Women's Neighborhood of Saschiz in partnership with the Saschiz City Hall, co-financed by AFCN.
