Music Festival at Alba Iulia: classics. Class Citadel!
Each chord is a celebration in itself, but when millions of magical chords gather in just three evenings, it is an event that cannot be missed - the 2024 edition of the Music Festival in Alba Iulia.
Two stages specially dedicated to the event, in Citadel Square and in the courtyard of the Palace of the Princes of Transylvania, will be ready to receive a unique, eclectic mix, from chamber or symphonic orchestra to tambourine and piano with a grandiose production of the Bucharest National Opera, La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, under the baton of maestro Daniel Jinga.
Analia Selis with the Tărgu Mures Orchestra, the Kronstadt Chamber of Brasov, Romulus Ciparius or Catalin Raducanu are just a few among the names that give weight and guarantee the success of the 2024 edition of the Fête de la Musique - Music Festival at Alba Iulia. A massive addition of color and rhythm is brought by Ágnes 𝐓𝐨𝐡, the band coordinator who will delight the audience with an original program of renaissance dances, in the courtyard of the Palace of the Princes in the Cetate.
The caliber artists, with origins in Alba Iulia, return home and have their special place in this year's Music Festival. Thus, the public will be able to see Alexandra Fiț at work, in a production-event conceived and staged by her herself - Tanase Fits Piaf, and the keyboard magician, Vladimir Gligor Lungan, in an extraordinary piano recital .
Alba Iulia was the first city in Romania to join this trend and organize the Music Festival. For 11 years, the story continues every summer, in the heart of the Alba Carolina Fortress!
