🪵 History carved in wood, 🌳 traditions nourished by the roots!

🎻 This year, between September 27 and 28, the 3rd edition of the Transylvanian Crafts Festival will take place in the Târgu Mureș fortress.

🌷 Centuries-old knowledge, the mark of craftsmen and respect for the past come together at our event, where Transylvanian folk culture comes to life again. Our goal is not only to preserve the legacy of our ancestors, but to transform it into a living tradition, which constantly reinvents itself, while maintaining its authenticity. Crafts are a treasure that can only survive through practice – 🔥 and we want to keep this flame alive and pass it on to future generations.

🌲 The central theme of this year's edition is WOOD. This material has always occupied a special place in the lives of the people of Transylvania. The diversity of wood will be present at all times of the program – in the exhibited objects, in the works of carpenters and sculptors: musical instruments, everyday objects, wooden toys, carpentry works – from carved gates, crates and shingles, to painted furniture. Visitors will not only be able to admire the creations of the craftsmen, but will also have the opportunity to try different woodworking techniques. 🪚

The event includes craft demonstrations, artisan activities, a craft fair, thematic exhibitions about wood, professional lectures and folk music performances. 🎶
