About
From November 22 to 24, 2024, the inner courtyard of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant brings together craftsmen, artisans, collectors and traditional producers from all over the country.
Folk craftsmen will be present with hand-sewn ii, wooden objects, stained glass, opinci, sacred art, ceramics, icons, necklaces, jewelry and much more.
Artisans will bring with them unique crocheted objects, made from natural materials, felted wool, jewelry, traditional leather goods, decorations, jewelry made from semi-precious stones, toys, scented candles, natural cosmetics, lavender.
The producers will provide you with flowers, fruit from lovingly tended orchards, the latest seasonal vegetables, jams, zacuști and pickles from the pantry, traditional meat preparations, cheeses, curds, the famous burduf cheese, bread and pastries, old confectionery products - doboș, albinita, homemade chocolate, fondant candies, baclavas and pies, tțuici and palinci, honey and beekeeping products.
In addition, collectors of peasant antiques will delight you with dowry boxes, blidare, spinning forks, tools from the peasant household, peasant furniture, ii, fote, catrințe, valnice, marame, țertgare, paflate and ornaments, but also with paintings, old books and collectibles.
On site, skilled housewives from Dâmbovița will prepare you sărmăluțe with meat and polenta, beaten beans with onion glaze, delicious bulz with polenta and cheese from the bellows, seasoned cabbage with pork knuckle and fresh pita bread. We will also prepare for you hot desserts: kusrtos kalacs, hot donuts, pancakes with jam.
