Mircea Baniciu, together with Vlady Cnejevici and Teo Boar (members of the bands Pasărea Colibri, Mircea Baniciu & Band, Pacifica and Mircea Rusu Band), form the band MIRCEA BANICIU & BAND. In this formula, they perform the most successful songs such as "Andri Popa", "Escarfa în dar", "Tristeți provinciale", "Vara la la țăra", "Intelegere", "Vremuri", "Cântecul ceasornicarulu" and many others!

Mircea Baniciu is a renowned Romanian singer and guitarist. He debuted in the 70s as the lead singer of the rock band Phoenix. After the departure of his colleagues in 1977, Baniciu began his solo career, releasing an EP and four albums. In 1992, he founded the band Pasărea Colibri together with Florian Pittiș, Mircea Vintilă and Vlady Cnejevici, with whom he released five albums and a DVD.

In 2002, Baniciu reunited with Phoenix for the band's 40th anniversary concert, but in 2007 he left Phoenix again to pursue his solo career with Vlady Cnejevici and Teo Boar.
