Argeș Traditions Festival

The Festival of Argeșene Traditions, the 𝐗𝐈-__ edition, will take place on the weekend of 𝟐𝟑-𝟐𝟓 __August, in Corbeni, Argeș county (the road to Vidraru - Transfăgărășan).

Let's start with:
🎶 music and good cheer;
🥘 traditional Romanian food;
🐑 ram in the protsap;
⚒️ exhibitions with authentic folk craftsmen and live workshops (opinci, wood carving, stick braiding, blacksmithing and many others.);
🍯 exhibitions with local producers (honey, brandy, cheeses, homemade cakes and many other goodies);
✨ fireworks - Sunday evening.
🔹 You can participate in:
💃🏽 village choir;
🧀 competition to taste traditional products vs. those in the store;
🪵 woodcutting competition at joagar (in teams);
🍺 pint contest;
🐎 log traction with 2 beautiful horses each;

* All competitions will be awarded with products from the sponsors. 🏆
During the 3 days, they will take the stage:
Veta Biriș, Sebastian Stan, Mariana-Ionescu Capitanescu, Gratian Bădescu, Steliana Sima, Traian Frâncu, Valeria Arnăutu, Vasile Raducu - nai, Maria Băndoiu, Ilie Caraș, Ileana Lăceanu, Ștefan Negru, Diana Monete, Doina Argeșului Orchestra - conductor Cătălin Iancu .
