Like every spring, the lacework of the lacemakers from Mândra is transformed into marștișoare. Small pieces that become active resources and support our educational projects, offered free of charge, for over 10 years, to the children of the village.

The fair is open from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 14:00 and Mrs. Dana welcomes you. And on Friday, between 17:00 and 20:00, we have open-door sessions, where all our lace is waiting for you.

The price of such jewelry, handmade from cotton, silk, hemp, linen, dyed wool with red onion leaves or macrame, is 25 lei. Each martisor will have a special packaging, in a paper envelope, with a card on which we printed the story of the hands that decorate for us, plus martisor thread made of silk threads.

And this year we are mounting the laces on natural wool felt, received as a gift from our friends at Palaria Dadarlat, a gesture of generosity that makes us happy and connects us to a house with an old history in Romania, faithful to craftsmanship and a job well done.
