In October, the Saschiz Women's Neighborhood invites you to the Community Celebrations!
We have prepared for the public of all ages, a series of three events through which we want to make known traditions, customs, crafts, stories, etc. elements of local intangible heritage!
The first of these takes place on Saturday, October 5, 2024 (photo schedule)
Admission is free, but the number of seats is limited. Please use the online form https://forms.gle/Qb9nircn6QszjuHV8 for registration!
PROGRAM
10:00: Reception of participants - Saschiz NGO Hub (old German school, opposite the Town Hall), in the courtyard
10:15 "Stories at the mouth of the oven", with Vecinatatea Femeilor
"Neighborhoods in Saxon villages" Guests: Mrs. Sofia Folbert, Mrs. Ruxandra Hurezean
Vernissage exhibition of works made by children at the wood painting workshops (Clock Tower)
Wood painting workshops
12:30 "Cultural map of the community" - visits to craft workshops
13:30 Picnic in the citadel, with dishes from the Neighbourhood
15:00 Organ concert and choral music (Fortified Evangelical Church)
16:00 Film projection for children ”(HubONG Saschiz)
Event carried out as part of the "Traditions from the Neighborhood" project - https://vecinatateafemeilor.ro/traditii-din-vecinatate/, implemented by the Saschiz Women's Neighborhood and co-financed by AFCN. Partner: Saschiz City Hall
